I Saw A Bug 00:52
I saw a small little purple tiny six legged antenna sporting bug Near the bottom of the frame I didn't see it earlier And now it's crawling right up into my eye I laugh because it's tickling my interest It's particularly interesting with a bit of mustard on the side I smile wide-eyed while the sun warms me up My ears my toes still cold From walking down the street earlier I stepped in snow I needed coffee just to warm up my fingers Oh my that got off track Oh well Now I'm back to thinking of the things I didn't see or stop to contemplate before I'm glad I took a minute Kept a locked eye Paused then I jumped right in it But that bug keeps on Pulling on me and my eyelids My eyes feel heavy I try to let go I am letting go But hooks are stuck in me
2.
Epitaph 00:47
Please do not dwell over my dead body I see you cry over me I see you notice I am not there I am not there nor was my body ever me Look inside to see me Feel me in the soft summer breeze that sends a strand of hair across your face Hear me in the songbird's whistle that steals your attention Smell me in the skin of the newborn baby you hold closely to your cheek Taste me in the salt of your joyful tears I am with you I have not left you I have not left anything but my dead body
3.
Call it what you want But I can see it in everything I see it in the lingering sun Holding on to the last few bits of light Before diving into the depths of darkness I see it in the ants As they tiptoe around the peony Ah an abundance of life Enjoying the silky matte tunnels and valleys its home provides

Get to the point Get to the point Say it succinctly Easy to digest Say it concisely Just give me the gist But what if the point is to say it artistically Are we missing the point Now that we need it instantly We communicate mindlessly limiting characters for simplification Training impatience limits beauty in language Ease of communication Valued over vocabulary and original thought Get to the point Get to the point There is no time for Fluffy Artsy fartsy Hippy dippy Bullshit
6.
Circles 01:03
I can sit and draw circles for hours Like there is nothing else to do There is nothing else to do Or worry about except for this circle And how much I enjoy drawing it I can sit and draw circles for hours Like there is nothing else to do There is nothing else to do Or worry about except for this circle And how much I enjoy drawing it I can sit and draw circles for hours Like there is nothing else to do There is nothing else to do Or worry about except for this circle And how much I enjoy drawing it
7.
Appreciation I like the sound of it Shh Be quiet Slow down Show appreciation
8.
Three Crows 00:36
Three crows Put on a show for me While I rest on a hammock The sky is empty Six sable wings strong Against the pale blue mirage The wind moves them I hear the youngest Crow cry out in joy They enjoy flying It is their way of life It is how they move Why do humans walk in such boring ways? Watch out for me on the sidewalk I am going to dance And put on a show for three crows
9.

12.
Oh nature If I ever stop appreciating you Or stop respecting you Please Strike me with lightning Knock me out with a meteor Freeze me until my lungs turn to ice Soak me to my core Force me to lumber in an afternoon sun bath and awaken with blistered skin Oh nature Lead a crow to my face and let it angrily peck out my useless eyes
13.
Blue 00:17
I love blue Blue love I I am blue Blue am I I have blue eyes Eyes of blue have I I wear blue pants A blue hat and A blue coat under a blue sky The more I write the word Blue The stranger it looks Blue, blue, blue, blue, blue Blue
14.
Bed of Ferns 00:42
Bed of ferns A tropical view in the boreal depths of Saskatchewan A bed for a giant Sun tinted Citrus green fluorescence A deep thin shallow river cuts through a wild bed of ferns Serenity I stand over the soft music of the waterfall Miniature to me I feel like the giant The soft cool morning breeze moves you Are you waving to me A morning salute or A mutual acknowledgement Wild fern I yearn for you
