The Cleansing Breath is a breath that animals do after they are agitated. This breath can release the physical effects of an emotional experience (like anger for example) so that animals can continue their day without hurting others or hurting themselves. In this children's book, a parent and child walk down to the river and learn about the cleansing breath after witnessing geese fight in the river. They come to understand that humans can learn how to be wiser humans by watching animals in nature.
